Blank Family Foundation is now accepting grant applications to help transform the neighborhoods of Vine City, English Avenue and Castleberry Hill. The foundation has committed $15 million to the project. Any good ideas? Maybe build an arena there for a NHL team or something? Vine City Thrashers, here we come!

The annual Drive-Invasion will be relocating to Turner Field this year after many years at the Starlight Drive-In.

The Sembler Co. is planning a 20,000 square feet retail project near East Atlanta Village close to where Moreland and Glenwood intersect by Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand.

The New Yorker has come up with a new slogan for the Peach State. “WE MAKE FLORIDA LOOK SAFE.” Zing! I guess we’ll have to go down to the QT to drown our sorrows in a 44oz bucket of bubbly heaven. Maybe with a shot of cherry. It’s been a rough week.
