ATLwood: How much traffic will ‘The Walking Dead’ cause when it returns?

Somewhere between “a little” and “a lot.”

Filming Updates:
>> “The Walking Dead” will be back in the city next week — on/around Courtland and Gilmer Streets. That means lane closures! That means: Mon.-Wed., July 28-30, 6 a.m.-11:59 p.m., and 3-11:59 p.m. Full details.

>> HBO’s Bessie reportedly filmed Wednesday at Blue Ridge and Highland Avenues.

>> ABC’s “Resurrection” has been filming in Norcross and reportedly in Stone Mountain.

>> “Satisfaction” is filming in-studio at Screen Gems.

>> Triple Nine has its base camp set up on John Wesley Dobbs. Slated for release sometime in 2015, filming went down in Sandy Springs, at North Springs United Methodist Church last weekend, and at Olympic Flame Restaurant at the end of this week. Random base camp break!

>> Tyler Perry’s new TV drama, “If Loving You is Wrong,” set up in Sugar Hill last weekend. Most specifically, it filmed in a Giant Foods parking lot.

>> Luke Goss is in town for Operator, about which no one knows anything. However, Goss is the sharing type, and has filled his Twitter account with photos.

Sightings:
>> The more things change, the more Slash stays the same. He was spotted at One Eared Stag recently. That hat!

>> And do you know what is strange? Shailene Woodley was also seen at One Eared Stag just a few days ago.

>> Norman Reedus was seen at Hartsfield-Jackson “in a hurry.” (Does “hurry” seem a little ... gentle to you?)

Castings:
>> Insurgent is casting for work through the end of August. To apply, send three photos plus info to Mineral.Intelligent at gmail.com with the subject line “Mineral.” In no particular order, they need: “FORMALLY-TRAINED MILITARY, LAB TECHS, COLLEGE STUDENTS, BOUNCERS, and more.”

Deals:
>> Tyler Perry, who has been planning to buy part of Fort McPherson, is now being accused of “unfairly working with government officials,” according to a new lawsuit filed earlier this month by Ubiquitous Entertainment Studios.

>> Origin Digital Studios, a visual effects house launched less than two years ago in California, is eying space in the city.

Miscellany:
>> “America’s Got Talent” is down (only?) to its Top 48, including local acts Jasmine Flowers, prodigious pianist Adrian Romoff, and Dragon House.

>> Did you know?! The inspiration for one of the characters in the new hospital dramedy “Red Band Society” is apparently local: actress Zoe Levin plays a “douchebag” based on “a kid from Atlanta.”
