Filming Updates:
>> Captain America 3 will start filming in Atlanta in April. When will we know the title? “In a month or so,” according to the Russo brothers.

>> Magic Mike 2, better known as Magic Mike XXL, will film in Savannah starting in late September. Production will take about five weeks. Even better: they’re casting locals.

>> Peachtree Presbyterian is now the base camp for Ride Along 2. Production signs were seen along Peachtree in Midtown.

>> Divergent apparently filmed at the High on Monday and then filmed again at the state archives building. Its base camp is set up at 16th and Spring Streets.

>> VH1’s new series “Hindsight,” about women, weddings, and the past, will reportedly start filming here next month.

>> Sony’s new live-action series “Powers” — a bid for original programming on PlayStation — will start production here in just a few weeks. The show start District 9’s Sharlto Copley. Keep scrolling for some casting news.

>> “The Vampire Diaries” continued filming in Decatur.

>> Something is filming on Paces Ferry.

>> FYI: “Gunfire planned” for a new series shooting in the Fairlie-Poplar area on Sept. 3.

Sightings:
>> Jay Leno stopped by the High on Wednesday to see its Dream Cars exhibit. The lovely folks over there sent me this photo of the comedian with Curator of Decorative Arts and Design Sarah Schleuning and Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre managing director Michael Taormina.

>> Steven Tyler was seen at the AMC Phipps Plaza.

Castings:
>> Ant-Man needs “experienced” stand-ins. Do you like to stand? With purpose? Go here.

>> The 5th Wave, an adaptation of the super popular novel, is casting kids ages 9-14. There’s lots to read in the casting notice, so best to just click through to it over here. (Filming isn’t for a month or so.)

>> “Powers” needs children (with “interesting looks”) and detective/cop types. Info here.

>> “Resurrection,” resuming production for its second season, needs men. All kinds, really, as long as your ages 30-60: lawyers, teachers, coaches, mechanics, custodians, “etc.” Send photos + info to res2 at cynthiastillwellcasting.com with the subject line “ARCADIA MEN.”

Miscellany:
>> John Rocker, making the first in a hopefully long-lasting string of utterly fascinating decisions, will join “Survivor” on its newest season, premiering in September. (Of course someone had to ask him about that Sports Illustrated article and then of course he had to answer.)

>> Here is a reason for me to use the words “Love & Hip Hop” and “lawsuit” and “crack cocaine” in the same sentence.
