The hits keep coming: The lawyer representing Stacey Kalberman, the former executive director of the state’s ethics commission who recently won a multimillion dollar judgment from the state, wants sanctions against Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens for withholding a memo.

When not trying to pass laws under the Gold Dome, state Rep. Ronnie Mabra, D-Fayetteville, practices law. He has a billboard on the Downtown Connector advertising just as much. Mabra won’t comment on why he’s hyping his political office in a professional ad until he speaks with party leaders.

Approximately 50 people gathered on Boulevard to remember Jevonte Williams, who was recently killed during a fight.

Braves win! In court! A Cobb County judge has sided with the team and validated up to $397 million in bonds that would be issued to fund the planned Cobb County stadium. Opponents had challenged the move.
